Situation
Sunlit Interiors creates spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional. Its website did not reflect that: it felt outdated, slow and disjointed, navigation was confusing, and disconnected systems made it hard for customers to move from inspiration to purchase.
Strategy
Strategy before screens. Workshops redefined the service offerings, targeted higher-value client segments and set the value proposition. Services were bundled into packages by room type and budget, and the site was reorganized around what customers actually needed to decide.
Execution
- Clarify the offer. Service packages and messaging rebuilt around customer needs, budget and intent rather than internal structure.
- Simplify navigation. Clearer entry points and direct paths to services, examples and conversion actions, using guided selection, progressive disclosure and persistent calls to action.
- Unify the journey. WooCommerce integrated with the content experience, plus a custom portal for project intake and payments.
- Show the work. Completed interiors reshot to match the new brand.
My role
As Creative Director, I led the rebrand from strategy workshops through the messaging framework and UX strategy, then designed and developed the custom theme.
What changed
Client feedback confirmed the site was easier to navigate and closer to what clients expected. Engagement rose, and the site now attracts more qualified inquiries.
The website became a useful business tool: clear pathways, stronger service packaging and a more confident experience from first impression through conversion.
